The Winter Safety Game

Winter weather can be a killer. The challenge of The Winter Safety Game is to prepare your home, barn, and car for a winter blizzard and travel safely through it to Grandma's 75th birthday party. Score points by interacting with content, encountering a variety of hazardous situations and problems to solve. Collect enough points to access skating, fireworks, and prizes at the party.

Reality Check Cafe

How much exercise will it take to burn off your restaurant meal? Explore the relationship between calorie intake and physical activity, and the importance of making smart choices when dining out. Order from the menu and get a personal report of the activity needed to offset calories consumed. Presented by Cooperative Extension, Reality Check Cafe is a newly-designed restaurant and features new cuisine biweekly.

Trash

Trash is a new installation by Mexi Lane at MIC-Imagin@rium. The landfill is a state of mind, a sense of social and cultural degradation. Hop in a bulldozer or float on by in a tire as the scenery becomes a framework, for the art. There is also a photo contest, and photos sent by visitors of the site will be exposed to the MIC.

Lost Second Life

Second Life history is on display at the Dryland Gallery with premier Second Life photographer Ziki Questi's "Lost Second Life" exhibition. With imagery from 40 signature abandoned sims, this is a must see for veterans and beginners alike.

Tonight, Club Zero Gravity holds the first event for the Sundreamer Relay for Life team: a skunk party. For the second year in a row, "Stinky the skunk" and "skunkings" have been a part of they Relay in SL (http://relayforlifeofsecondlife.org/stinky/). And so in honor of the Relay's new mascot, we're holding a skunk party. This is for all of you stinkers out there with a skunk as their main avatar, or have one in your inventory that you wear on occasion. So come on over and give a black and white tailed salute to the Relay, as well as donating to the Sunbeamer's fundraiser for the American Cancer Society

Brand new event on Book Island! Meeting in the Moroccan area in front of the dive bar, come and write an erotica dash piece for around 20 minutes in response to a verbal or visual prompt. The rest of the hour will be for sharing your work if you wish. This is a great way to hone your erotica writing - whether that be your genre or whether you need some practice writing steamy scenes for your novel. The prompts will be slightly more adult than a standard dash and we hope so will the outcomes. So bring your kinks and leave your inhibitions at the door!
