Are you in a hooved avatar, feeling alone in a Second Life full of nekos, foxes, wolves, and kitties? Or maybe you just appear as one once in a while when you have a special occasion. Well, now's your chance to show off at the Vinyl's "Hoof It" event. Come as an equine or other furry one-toed foot avatar, ponygirl, or MLP style pony avatar. Don't have one of these? You can come as a cowboy/cowgirl. However you come, put your best (horseshoed) foot forward and ride on over.

Halloween is approaching, and so are the monsters. So the Vinyl is having its "Vampires, Zombies, and Hunters" night. Come as one of the walking dead, one of the relentless horde that has paused its search for brains only long enough to party. Come as a vampire, though kindly keep your fangs to yourself  (no Bloodlines). Don't have either look? Show up as a hunter, one of the humans who stand between the innocents and those whom would prey upon them, or at least those that can't be persuaded to stick to the blood bank and the brain lab. However you show up, be prepared for a night of chills as the undead walk, or rather dance, among us.

Events This Week Temporarily Going Inactive

The "Events This Week" section hasn't been updated in a few weeks, temporarily shelved as the paper worked on articles delayed by the Relay For Life Weekend, and it's related news stories. Before and since, some of the locations outside the Sunweaver/Angels community where the paper is located have stopped releasing schedules of the week ahead, so we had to do an increasing amount of guesswork.

The section is temporarily going inactive, perhaps only until next week, perhaps a few weeks, perhaps longer. Time will tell.
